2024

We are having such a good time leading games on the infant and junior playground, keeping everybody active and making sure everyone’s busy. Look out for us!

We also have been enjoying lots of out of school clubs including golf, netball and football.

A highlight of this year so far is definitely that our girls’ football team won the mini world cup playing as Argentina, it was so fun and we loved being awarded with our medals and trophies.

Year 3 and 4 recently went to a really fun multi-sports event and they said it was ‘energetic and exciting’! Year 1 and 2 also had lots of fun at their football taster and their dance event too at Knutsford High School. We hope they enjoyed having their certificates given to them in the golden assemblies.

At the moment, we are focussing on showing good sportsmanship and our values when we play at competitive events and in P.E. lessons. We have been thinking of famous athletes that we notice showing our values of respect, honesty, friendship, compassion, courage and perseverance. You can see some examples of them on the P.E. and Sports display. If you can think of any athletes that show our Christian Values, please let us or Miss Whalley know and you might see them up on the wall!

This week, we have a new Sports Captain/Ambassador of the week. Look on our display to see who it is. Don’t forget to nominate a Sports Captain or Ambassador that you think is making a big difference to keeping you active and happy at break and lunch time.
